4P Foods was founded with the mission of rebuilding a regenerative and equitable food system. Over the years, it has established a network of more than 200 local family farms across Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and the Eastern Seaboard and Mid-Atlantic. The business has grown to support both home delivery and wholesale offerings, ensuring that local farmers have access to new markets and customers.

4P Foods prioritizes sourcing from local and regional partners who engage in labor practices that enable people and communities to thrive. The growers and producers in their network employ methods that actively build the soil and promote biodiversity. They are committed to low-impact, sustainable, and regenerative methods of food production. The use of reusable delivery bags and a focus on local food contribute to a lower carbon footprint.

4P Foods delivers 7,500 pounds of food every month to underserved communities in Washington, D.C. through partnerships with six community organizations. They ensure equitable access to healthy foods regardless of income or ZIP code. Additionally, 60¢ of every dollar spent goes directly to the farmers, significantly higher than the conventional rate of 14.5¢. The company also collaborates with various community partners to advocate for community health and equitable food access.
