About the Farm
Background
Pensacola natives moved to the north end of Escambia County in 2002 and began growing vegetables organically for their family. Realizing a local need, they started sharing their produce with the community. Initially engaging in truck farming, they transitioned to a CSA model to balance family time and farm work. The CSA has been operating for years, fostering a strong connection with their weekly subscribers.
Practices
The farm employs organic growing methods and sustainable soil use through a no-till, bio-intensive farming plan. Non-chlorinated well water is used for irrigation, and high tunnels extend the growing season. Pasture rotation is practiced for grazing, ensuring soil health and animal welfare.
The Rest
The farm offers four seasonal subscription plans—spring, summer, fall, and winter boxes—providing a variety of nutrient-dense, sustainably grown produce to their community. They cherish the aspect of family business and the relationships built with their regular customers.
