About the Farm
Background
For many years, the Borowsky family has cultivated their own produce organically, sharing it with friends and the local community. The farm, located in South Central Pennsylvania's historic Adams County 'Fruit Belt,' specializes in heirloom vegetables and a variety of berries. In 2010, they planted a vineyard, which produced its first harvest of table and wine grapes two years later.
Practices
The farm adheres to organic farming methods, emphasizing the cultivation of heirloom vegetables and selected berries. Their approach to farming integrates the nurturing of the land with the production of diverse crops, including apples, grapes, and various fruits. The presence of sheep, chickens, and rabbits further enriches the farm's ecosystem, contributing to a balanced and sustainable agricultural practice.
The Rest
Visitors can enjoy pick-your-own grapes during August and September or purchase prepared grapes for snacking, juice, or winemaking. The farm also offers delicious preserves and welcomes inquiries about purchasing produce, plants, and lambs/sheep.
