About the Farm
Background
Together We Bloom began in early 2021 when the founders decided to grow their own wedding venue in a small, natural field behind their family home. After their wedding, they expanded their operation to a larger piece of urban property in South Ogden in 2022. Despite significant investment in infrastructure and perennial plants, they faced challenges with land rent and market competition, leading them to leave the Ogden Farmers Market in 2024.
Practices
The farm focuses on drought-tolerant perennial flower production, nurturing the earth and their community with sustainable practices and radical love. They transformed compacted turf into a thriving garden, emphasizing the importance of ecological stewardship and community connection.
The Rest
Together We Bloom provides bouquets and local flower wedding and event services to Northern Utah. They have invested nearly $50,000 in infrastructure and plants, and despite challenges with land rent and market competition, they continue to strive to make their urban farm a success. They encourage community support and donations to help with their lease payment.
