Background
Avenales Ranch has been stewarding 18,000 acres on the central coast of California since 1875, spanning six generations. Known for its commitment to organic and sustainable practices, the ranch has been certified organic by Organic Certifiers from Ventura and has achieved G.A.P. 4 certification for the past three years.
Practices
The ranch sustainably raises black Angus and Hereford cross animals without the use of hormones, antibiotics, vaccines, or pesticides. The cattle are grassfed and finished, and the beef is dry-aged for 27 days to ensure quality. These practices reflect a deep commitment to maintaining the health of the land and the animals.

Avenales Ranch offers a variety of beef products, including Taco Box, Burger Box, Lefty's Box, Old Si's Box, and Big Jim's Box, as well as whole, half, and quarter beef options. They ship anywhere in California, Oregon, and Arizona. Additionally, the ranch produces Old Vine Chenin Blanc wine and offers a Wildflower Club for enthusiasts.
