About the Farm
Background
Started in the Spring of 1982, the nursery began as a small, home-based business offering a variety of locally grown herb plants. About 33 years ago, the focus shifted to specializing in lavender plants, and the first small Lavender Days event was hosted in 1996. Over the years, the nursery has expanded to offer nearly 100 different cultivars of Oregon grown lavender plants along with a selection of favorite herbs.
Practices
All perennial herbs sold are started from cuttings to ensure the correct species and cultivar. The nursery emphasizes locally grown plants, with a particular focus on lavender and culinary herbs.
The Rest
The nursery and gift shop are open by appointment from Wednesday through Saturday, June 1 to July 27, between 11 AM and 4 PM. Visitors can purchase dried lavender flower bundles, culinary lavender, lavender tea blends, essential oils, hydrosol, sachets, and more. The gift shop features locally made lavender products from Oregon and Washington farms. During the lavender bloom season, which lasts around six weeks from mid-June to the end of July, visitors can see various lavender varieties blooming in the small field and garden. Fresh cut lavender bundles are available during the harvest.
