About the Farm
Background
Beech Tree Ranch has been providing farm fresh products to its community, including eggs and pork, with a focus on quality and local processing. The local butcher they partner with has over 50 years of experience, ensuring that the pork is processed and packed to high standards.
Practices
Hogs are raised in a large, clean, well-maintained sty on a 10-acre farm. They are fed fresh vegetables, unlimited grain on demand, and fresh milk, with fresh water sourced from a spring-fed well. The hogs are six to seven months old when they go to slaughter, ensuring a well-fed and healthy animal.
The Rest
Visitors are welcome to tour the farm by appointment to see the animals and the ranch. Fresh eggs are available, and the farm offers a once-per-year opportunity to purchase half or whole hogs, custom-cut and processed locally. Delivery options are available for the pork, and the farm is not currently offering dairy products.
