Birdsong Orchards

Founded in 2013, Birdsong Orchards transformed an old 8-acre fallow farm in the Pajaro Valley of Santa Cruz County into a thriving organic farm. Known for its permanent fruit tree orchard and you-pick rose field, the farm boasts over 200 varieties of fruits and more than 500 rose bushes. The farm has become a local favorite for its commitment to biodiversity and high-quality produce.

Birdsong Orchards adheres to the highest standards of regenerative farming, focusing on deeply sustainable practices that enrich and nurture the holistic health of the land. The farm emphasizes biodiversity and environmental balance, growing heirloom and unusual varieties of fruits and flowers. The orchard and flower fields are managed to encourage a thriving ecosystem, ensuring the long-term health and productivity of the farm.

In addition to its fruit and flower production, Birdsong Orchards is home to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, llamas, an alpaca, and two emus. The farm offers a newsletter that provides insights into fruit tree and flower growing techniques, as well as updates on farm activities throughout the year.
