Background
Since 2002, the Carlson family has operated a third-generation ranch in Northeastern Utah, perfecting their production and processing methods to offer natural, high-quality beef, lamb, and pork. Known for their commitment to quality, they have built a reputation for providing premium grass fed meat to individuals and businesses.
Practices
The livestock at the ranch enjoy a free-range lifestyle, lounging under the shade of trees, drinking from natural springs, and eating fresh, chemical-free grass. All animals are 100% grass fed and grass finished, never given antibiotics or growth hormones. If an animal requires antibiotics, it is separated from the herd and not sold for human consumption. The ranch employs a diverse livestock system, including cattle, sheep, and pigs, which allows the land and animals to live in balance, enhancing productivity and health. Meat processing is done locally under USDA inspection.
The Rest
The farm offers delivery on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month and ships nationwide. Their products are higher in CLA content, Omega-3, and lower in Omega-6 fatty acids, making them a healthier meat choice. They also provide pasture-raised pork and free-range chicken, with non-GMO grains, no growth hormones, and no antibiotics.
