About the Farm
Background
Bob Roth’s New River Groves opened in October 1964 in Davie, FL, becoming a prominent citrus grower in South Florida. Initially a family-run operation, the business expanded from local fruit picking to national shipping. The introduction of Terry’s Homemade Key Lime Pie in the 1970s, based on a family recipe, added to their acclaim. Despite Terry Roth's passing in 2002, her legacy continues through the award-winning pies. The business has grown to ship thousands of pounds of citrus and gourmet treats across the U.S. and Canada.
Practices
The farm focuses on delivering the freshest, sweetest oranges and other Florida citrus, nurtured to ripeness in the Florida sun. Emphasis is placed on quality fruit and exceptional customer service, ensuring each piece of fruit is packed with healthy nutrition and valuable antioxidants.
The Rest
Visitors to the Davie store can enjoy picking fresh fruit, purchasing Terry’s Homemade Key Lime Pie, or joining the fruit of the month club for seasonal deliveries. The farm also offers a variety of Florida-inspired gourmet treats and participates in local events like the Orange Blossom Festival.
