Borrowed Thyme Farm

Located in central New Jersey, this small family farm has garnered national recognition for its herd of Silver Fox and American rabbits, winning multiple National Shows and achieving Best of Breed at the 2018 Convention. The farm has consistently ranked highly in national competitions, including second place in Silver Fox for 2017 and first place for 2016.

The farm operates on the belief that animals should be allowed to exhibit their natural behaviors and be raised without added antibiotics or other synthetics. They focus on raising their own meat primarily for personal consumption, with surplus products available for sale. Feed and hay are sourced from local New Jersey farmers, emphasizing a commitment to local agriculture.

The farm offers a variety of products including eggs, chicken, pork, and rabbit for eating, as well as breeding stock, hatching eggs, chicks, and started pullets. They are currently taking deposits for 2019 pig shares and offer rabbit fryers, dog biscuits, and manure for sale. Mixed cartons of brown and blue chicken eggs, as well as duck eggs, are available.
