About the Farm

Background

With 18 years of experience, this family-owned and operated ranch has become known for its commitment to regenerative farming. The ranch raises ruminant animals such as cows, sheep, and goats, which are born, grazed, and raised on the farm. Their heritage breed pork is also a standout product, fed with certified organic sprouted whole grains sourced locally.

Practices

The ranch employs planned adaptive rotational grazing, using a diversity of livestock and forages. They utilize organic foliar sprays and soil amendments to enrich the soil. The animals are 100% grass-fed and pasture-finished, with pigs being pastured and forested. The farm avoids chemicals, GMOs, and pharmaceuticals, focusing instead on creating healthy plants to feed their stock and wildlife. This holistic approach includes careful observation, testing, and patience to foster thriving soil biology, which in turn supports robust plant life and nutrient-rich meats.

The Rest

Farm tours are available by appointment, encouraging visitors to learn about their practices. The ranch emphasizes the importance of soil health, biodiversity, and efficient photosynthesis in producing nutrient-dense foods. They believe that healthy soil and plants lead to better food and a healthier community. The ranch also steers clear of chemical wormers, fungicides, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, and sludge, ensuring the cleanest possible environment for their livestock and land.
