About the Farm
Background
Located in Eastern Audrain County, Missouri, along the Cuivre River, the farm spans 320 acres and has been dedicated to providing high-quality, nutrient-dense meat. Known for their commitment to animal welfare and land preservation, they offer whole, half, and individual cuts of lamb, which are also available at local markets and restaurants in Columbia.
Practices
The farm employs rotational grazing in paddocks filled with cool and warm season grasses and legumes, ensuring ample shade and fresh water. This method produces low-stressed, healthy lambs that are 100% pasture-raised and finished. The lambs' diet results in meat high in Omega 3s and CLAs, with reduced overall fat levels due to their active foraging lifestyle.
The Rest
Local deliveries are available to certain areas in Saint Louis and Columbia, though shipping is not offered. The farm also batch-tests their meat for flavor and tenderness, ensuring top quality for customers. Individual cuts can be found at Clovers Natural Markets and on the menu at Barred Owl Butcher & Table in Columbia.
