About the Farm
Background
The beef herd is managed by Trevor and Brett Glick, who represent the fourth generation of their family to raise beef cattle on this farm. The farm has a long-standing tradition of cattle farming, focusing on producing tender and tasty beef.
Practices
Cattle are raised with room to roam and graze on grass and forages, never fed grain or animal by-products. They are treated with respect and handled humanely, without the use of drugs, growth hormones, or antibiotics. Sustainable farming practices are employed, including careful management of ecosystems and natural resources, preservation of local wildlife and plants, and avoidance of overgrazing.
The Rest
Beef is available as a whole, half, or quarter calf worth of meat, with a quarter being approximately 90-100 lbs. The farm participates in the local Columbus farmer's market every Saturday during the summer, selling ground beef and other cuts.
