Carmel Lavender

Located in Carmel Valley, near the Tassajara Zen Center, the farm has become known for its diverse lavender varieties, including Grosso and Royal Velvet. The farm also produces lavender honey, thanks to the bees kept on the property.

Lavender is grown 100% naturally without the use of artificial chemicals. Soil enrichment is achieved through composting. While lavender is generally pest-tolerant, any problematic plants are removed and replanted. The farm also operates an on-site distillery, ensuring that the lavender distillation process remains completely natural through steam distillation.

The farm offers a variety of lavender-based products such as lotions, soaps, essential oils, dried lavender bouquets, lavender water, and sachets. Additionally, they provide a service for other growers to distill essential oils from their lavender.
