About the Farm

Background

Located in Nancy, Kentucky, this family farm has been in the vegetable-growing business since 2000 and started growing strawberries in 2008. The farm is a proud member of the Kentucky Proud program, with Joel, the sole operator, serving as the president of the Kentucky Vegetable Growers Association and a founder of the Kentucky Strawberry Association.

Practices

The farm employs sustainable growing techniques and integrated pest management (IPM) to ensure the health and productivity of their cropland. These practices reflect a commitment to protecting resources for future generations of farmers.

The Rest

Visitors can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at the on-farm market and the Somerset Farmers' Market. The farm also has satellite sites in Danville, Richmond, and Somerset, with updates available on their Facebook page. Pre-picked berries are available only at The Stand located at the corner of W Hwy 80 and 837.
