About the Farm

Background

Located in the heart of California, this 8-acre ranch has become known for its organic and permaculture practices, cultivating wine grapes and raising a diverse array of animals. Over the years, the ranch has developed a reputation for its commitment to sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry.

Practices

The ranch employs permaculture principles, allowing animals to freely roam and naturally manage pests and weeds among the 2000 grapevines and wooded hillside. Grazing animals, including Baby Doll Sheep and Kune Kune Pigs, contribute to the health of the land, while organic feed supplements are provided during the dry season. The ranch's poultry, including various breeds of turkeys, ducks, and chickens, are all free-range and organic, ensuring high-quality eggs and meat.

The Rest

In addition to wine grapes and animal products, the ranch offers organic bone broth and has newborn piglets available for reservation. Visitors are welcome to reach out for a tour to see the happy animals and learn more about the ranch's practices.
