About the Farm
Background
The farm has a rich tradition of cultivating certified organic produce and has become a staple at the YLNI/Barr Street Market. Over the years, it has expanded its offerings to include a variety of vegetable starts and specialty cut flowers, which are sold both on the farm and at local markets.
Practices
The farm adheres to certified organic farming methods, ensuring that all vegetables, herbs, and flowers are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. This commitment to organic practices not only nurtures the soil but also promotes a healthier ecosystem.
The Rest
In addition to market sales, the farm partners with Junk Ditch Brewing, providing them with fresh vegetables and farm eggs. The farm also hosts an annual plant sale on Mother's Day weekend at the Three Rivers Co-Op. Although the farm no longer offers a CSA, they recommend Hawkins Family Farms for those interested.
