About the Farm

Background

Located in the expansive Camas Prairie of Western Montana, just south of Hot Springs and a little over an hour north of Missoula, the farm has grown since its inception to include a variety of agricultural activities. In 2015, the farm expanded to a new site in nearby Paradise, MT, adding another acre for vegetable production. Known for its unique selection of European and Asian heirloom vegetables, the farm offers a diverse array of produce and products.

Practices

The farm employs certified organic methods to cultivate roughly an acre of vegetables, herbs, and natural dye plants. Sheep and chickens are raised on pastures, ensuring that the animals have access to fresh grass and open space. The laying hens are pasture-raised, contributing to the quality of the eggs, while the sheep provide grass-fed lamb and merino wool.

The Rest

The farm's produce and products, including eggs, lamb, and wool, are available at the Clark Fork Market in Missoula every Saturday throughout the summer. CSA shares are also distributed at this market, providing customers with a regular supply of fresh, organic produce.
