East Brook Community Farm

The farm has established itself as a cornerstone in the community by fostering a sustainable local food-shed. Known for its commitment to sustainable farming practices, it has built a network of farmers and families working together to ensure a sustainable future.

The farm employs regenerative agriculture principles, including permaculture and holistic management, to nurture the soil and produce food with higher nutrient density and a lower carbon footprint. These mindful growing methods result in tastier, more nutritious food that benefits the environment and the planet.

In addition to the CSA shares, the farm offers eggs, seasonal pickles, krauts, kimchis, and beef. They are also working towards a Whole Farm CSA offering Homestead Shares and have planted fruit and nut trees and bushes for future harvests. Customers can find their products at the Oneonta Farmers Market and through on-farm pickup.
