Practices
The farm adheres to Certified Organic and Animal Welfare Approved standards, ensuring cattle are fed exclusively on green grass, alfalfa, timothy, and native hay from their organic pastures. Even in winter, cattle remain on pasture, supplemented with hay. Techniques from renowned beef handlers like Temple Grandin and Curt Pate are employed to raise cattle in a respectful, peaceful manner. No chemicals are used, relying instead on natural holistic processes and manual labor to enhance fertility and control weeds. The beef is dry-aged for optimal flavor and tenderness and processed by hand in a small, family-owned, USDA-inspected facility.
