About the Farm

Background

Founded in 1962, Eden Valley Farm began as a health institute and has grown to include a world missions training program, organic farming program, and much more. The farm was established by Harold and Effie Grosboll, along with Pete and Ann Borris, who sold their nursing home in Boulder, Colorado, to invest in the Eden Valley property. Over the years, the farm has expanded its influence globally, establishing supporting ministries in various countries.

Practices

Eden Valley Farm adheres to organic farming methods, ensuring that no chemicals or pesticides are used in the growing process. The farm's practices are deeply rooted in the principles of natural health as outlined in the Bible, integrating holistic approaches such as exercise, massage, and hydrotherapy to complement their fresh produce.

The Rest

Eden Valley Farm is part of the Eden Valley Institute, a nonprofit organization that also operates a natural remedies treatment center and school. The institute offers 14-day live-in programs to teach guests how to address diseases like diabetes, cancer, obesity, and heart disease through lifestyle changes. The farm invites visitors to take tours, ask questions, and experience the tranquility of its 550 acres of forested mountains, meadows, and farmland.
