About the Farm

Background

Founded in 1984 as Natures Way Tree Farm by Bill and Kay Walton, the farm was taken over by their daughter Twyla Nash and her husband Marc Nash in 2002. The Nash family moved to the farm in 2005 and introduced new tree care practices. The farm saw its best year in 2015. After Twyla Nash's passing in 2022, Damian and Leia Prause, owners of Old Time Christmas Tree Farm, purchased the farm in 2023, continuing its legacy.

Practices

Marc Nash, with the help of Grandpa Bill, introduced a new style of tree care that significantly improved the farm's output and quality. The Prause family, with over 25 years of experience, plans to maintain the farm's spirit while incorporating some of their own practices.

The Rest

The farm hosts a pumpkin patch with hay rides, train rides, a petting zoo, mazes, and inflatables on weekends in October. The Christmas season begins the weekend before Thanksgiving, offering choose-and-cut Virginia pine and pre-cut fir and spruce. The farm is pet-friendly.
