About the Farm

Background

Evans Farms spans over 2,000 acres in Delaware and has been a cornerstone of local agriculture for three generations. Initially, the farm produced a diverse range of crops including pumpkins, peaches, and asparagus. Today, their produce is sold at numerous off-site seasonal markets in Sussex and Kent Counties, and they supply nearly a dozen restaurants and over 70 grocers throughout Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

Practices

From planting to picking, Evans Farms ensures that their produce is of exceptional quality. They emphasize the importance of fresh, locally grown food, maintaining a close connection between their fields and the tables of their customers. The farm's practices reflect a commitment to quality and freshness, ensuring that each piece of produce is handled with care from the moment it is planted until it reaches the consumer.

The Rest

Evans Farms offers a diverse selection of fruits and vegetables including apples, beets, melons, cucumbers, eggplant, greens, lettuce, nectarines, onions, peaches, potatoes, radishes, strawberries, string beans, squash, sweet corn, tomatoes, turnips, watermelon, and zucchini. They serve a variety of restaurants and grocers throughout Delaware and Maryland. For wholesale and delivery inquiries, customers can contact Kevin at 302-542-6672.
