About the Farm

Background

Located in Kingsburg, California, this farm is a second-generation family-owned 20-acre walnut farm. The dream of the owner, Julie Soares, began over 10 years ago and was realized in 2023 with the help of her family. Julie's husband, Nick, spent his childhood helping his grandfather tend the farm and has taken on the farming legacy to pass it on to the next generation.

Practices

The farm grows specialty cut flowers on an acre patch of the farm, with the rest dedicated to a walnut orchard. They focus on intensive planting, soil fertility, plant health, and succession planting to produce high-quality, organic, fragrant blooms. The flowers are harvested fresh each morning and are pesticide-free, ensuring they are safe for all family members.

The Rest

The farm offers 'Pick-your-own' events, bouquet subscriptions, private and public special events, and classes. Although not open to the public for drop-in visits, exclusive 'You-pick' sessions and private events can be booked online. The farm's address is provided upon booking.
