About the Farm
Background
In its first year of a 're-start,' this third-generation family farm in Rochester, NH, carries forward a legacy of farming that spans multiple generations.
Practices
Raising heritage breed pigs on pasture, the farm currently manages a variety of breeds including a registered Large Black and a GOS boar, a Landrace X Yorkshire sow, three Yorkshire sows, two Tamworth X Old Spot (GOS) sows, and a registered Tamworth sow. All piglets are heritage crosses that are well-suited for pasture life.
The Rest
In addition to livestock, the farm produces 100% Pure NH Maple Syrup and Stump City Wicked Good Cider.
