Background

Glade Run Adventures is part of Glade Run Lutheran Service's 325-acre campus in Zelienople, designed to support children with mental and behavioral needs. The farm has evolved to include various therapeutic programs and a Cooperative CSA program aimed at providing vocational training for young individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

Practices

The farm integrates therapeutic practices with agriculture, focusing on Animal Assisted Therapy and Therapeutic Horticulture. These programs are designed to provide mental and behavioral support through interaction with animals and plants, fostering a healing connection with nature.
