About the Farm
Background
The farm has been in the family since 1946, with the current generation being the first to use the rich soil for vegetable and fruit production, including Aronia. The farm features a rustic, restored 96-year-old barn and has become a venue for weddings, pizza nights, and special events.
Practices
The farm uses no pesticides or chemicals in its vegetable and fruit production. The focus is on growing organically with attention to the health of the soil and the quality of the produce.
The Rest
The farm hosts a variety of community events such as Summer Celebrations, Harvest Meals, and Farm Days. It offers a picturesque setting for weddings and other special events, with multiple outdoor ceremony locations, a vintage bar, and indoor-outdoor audio. Wood-fired pizza nights feature hand-crafted pizzas made with organically grown veggies and custom sauces.
