Graze-N-Grow Farm

Jim and Ruth Draper, who both grew up on traditional grain and livestock farms in Illinois, founded Graze N Grow Farm in 2005 after becoming disillusioned with the increased dependence on chemicals and drugs in conventional farming. Mentored by Allen Nation and inspired by Stockman Grass Farmer magazine, they developed a new farming mindset.

The farm employs regenerative growing practices that prioritize nurturing healthy soils, plants, and animals. Their livestock, including sheep, cattle, pigs, and chickens, are allowed to enjoy life outdoors in the sunshine and green grass. The crops are organic and rely on natural processes rather than chemicals.

Jim and Ruth raise grass-fed Belted Galloway cattle, pasture-raised Katahdin sheep, and organically fed pastured chicken.
