Hazelfield Farm

Located in Wheatley, Kentucky, this small family farm has carved out a niche in the local agricultural scene by offering a diverse range of products including cut flowers, heirloom vegetables, grains, herbs, mushrooms, and handmade soaps and salves. They also provide full-service wedding, event, and party flowers, and run a traditional CSA.

Dedicated to all-natural practices, the farm avoids chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and plastic mulching. They utilize manure from their cattle, donkeys, and chickens as fertilizer and employ beneficial insects to control invasive species in their greenhouses and gardens. Personal attention to crops and cultivation helps keep their fields free of weeds.

Visitors can find their products at the Douglas Loop Farmers' Market in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturdays and the Hyde Park Farmers' Market in Cincinnati, Ohio on Sundays during the spring, summer, fall, and early winter months. CSA shares are available in Cincinnati, OH and Frankfort, KY, and the farm always welcomes visitors.
