About the Farm
Background
A traditional Catholic family of seven, inspired by the Holy Family of Nazareth, operates this small farm in Bellingham, WA. They aim to fulfill their created purpose through their farming practices, offering quality homegrown and handmade products. The farm is known for its commitment to faith and community, providing opportunities for young men to live intentionally in a Catholic community.
Practices
The farm employs natural and traditional methods to care for the land and animals. The sheep graze freely on 15 acres of meadow grasses, creek bed foliage, and forest vegetation. No feedlots, confined feeding pens, or grain finishing are used. The farm avoids chemical pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, hormones, routine antibiotics, and synthetic materials.
The Rest
The farm is currently accepting reservations for Fall harvest lamb meat. They emphasize a wholly natural lifestyle for their flock and invite potential customers to contact them for more information or to reserve a whole or half lamb. Additionally, the farm offers opportunities for young men to discern their future steps within a Catholic community.
