About the Farm
Background
Three years ago, a small family began cultivating their own food on their farm, eventually producing more than they could consume. This surplus led them to start selling vegetables at a roadside stand to avoid waste and share their harvest with the community.
Practices
The farm adheres to organic farming methods, avoiding GMOs and focusing on heirloom varieties, allowing customers to save seeds from their purchases. The emphasis is on growing food naturally and sustainably, with all proceeds reinvested into the farm to purchase seeds and maintain operations.
The Rest
The farm operates a roadside stand offering a variety of vegetables at affordable prices, such as tomatoes and different types of peppers and squash. They are open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 5 PM and participate in local events on weekends. Their broader mission is to encourage others to grow their own fruits and vegetables.
