The homestead has developed a well-rounded approach to farming, incorporating a variety of animals and producing homemade items from the resources provided by these animals. The farm is known for its Nigerian Dwarf Milk Goats, Angora Goats, Shetland Sheep, American Guinea hogs, Mini hogs, and chickens, as well as its homemade goat milk soap and felted wool products.

Avoiding the use of chemicals, the homestead raises animals naturally, allowing them to roam in the sunshine on woodlands and meadows. The animals are treated as part of the family, each with a name, and are raised with care and respect. Herbal remedies and herbal wormings are used, and milking is done by hand.

The farm also grows vegetables and a limited amount of fruit. The products made from the animals' resources include goats milk soap and felted wool items such as scarves, mittens, and hats.
