K Bar K Meats began in 1986 with the purchase of a small commercial herd and expanded in 1987 with purebred cattle from J.J. Smiddy of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Over the years, the farm has grown through strategic acquisitions and partnerships, including influential bulls like BFY VICTOR BANNER X16 and STAR EMBLEM WS 108D. The farm has built a reputation for high-quality beef, pork, and poultry, and has established relationships with several local restaurants.

The farm adheres to a philosophy that cows are designed to eat grass and should be raised accordingly. All cattle are raised on pasture, never in feedlots, and are not given hormones or antibiotics. The farm also raises pigs and poultry on pasture, feeding them GMO-free feed. The farm's commitment to animal welfare is reflected in its 5 to 5+ rating in the 5 Step Animal Welfare Rating. The emphasis on pasture-raised animals results in meat that is lower in total fat and higher in beneficial nutrients like Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins.

K Bar K Meats offers a variety of cuts of beef, pork, and chicken, with some lamb available, and specializes in custom packages with discounts.
