Jason and Kelly, both from multi-generational farming families, founded K & J Farm Market in 2009. Jason's family has farmed for five generations, focusing on grain and hay, while Kelly's family has farmed for four generations, specializing in produce and running a farm market. Prior to opening their own market, Jason and his father built a strong reputation in the area by growing and selling sweet corn and potatoes.

The farm employs natural practices to enhance soil nutrition and brix levels, resulting in highly nutritious produce. They prioritize natural methods to deter insects and disease, resorting to pesticides only when necessary. The farm strictly avoids genetically modified produce, focusing instead on diverse plantings to offer a variety of vegetables.
