About the Farm
Background
Located in St. Paul, Oregon, this family farm has become known for its farm-fresh berries and produce. The farm has cultivated a strong connection with its community by welcoming visitors and providing educational opportunities about farming. The passion for growing fruit is deeply rooted in the farm's ethos, contributing to the happiness of both the family and the local community.
Practices
The farm spans 120 acres, with dedicated plots for various crops: 6 acres for strawberries, 2.5 acres for raspberries, 0.5 acres each for marionberries and boysenberries, 2 acres for garden crops, and 6 acres for pumpkins and Indian corn. The remaining land is used in rotations with cover crops, grain, or hay. This rotation practice helps maintain soil health and fertility, ensuring sustainable crop production.
The Rest
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own containers for U-pick options. The farm offers a variety of produce including strawberries, raspberries, marionberries, boysenberries, sweet corn, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, jam, honey, pumpkins, Indian corn, gourds, squash, hay, and straw. Hayrides are available in October, making it a family-friendly destination where children are always welcome.
