About the Farm
Background
Located in the Dufort Valley, approximately 13 miles south/southwest of Sandpoint, Idaho, the farm began its journey in 2012. After a brief hiatus in 2014 and 2015, it resumed full-scale production in 2016, expanding to 3 acres and working towards organic certification from the Idaho State Department of Agriculture.
Practices
The farm is committed to achieving organic certification, ensuring that all farming practices meet stringent organic standards. This includes careful crop rotation, soil health management, and the avoidance of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers.
The Rest
Produce is available at the Sandpoint Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays from early June through early October, as well as at Winter Ridge Natural Foods in Sandpoint. Bulk storage crops can be purchased directly from the farm.
