About the Farm
Background
Liberty Ridge is a small family farm dedicated to stewardship of the land, animals, and health. They are known for their commitment to raising high-quality beef and poultry with a focus on ethical and sustainable practices.
Practices
The farm employs a rotational grazing system for their cattle, moving them to fresh paddocks of grass and forages daily, ensuring they are grass-fed and grass-finished without any grain. This process takes over two years. Pastured broilers are raised in portable, bottomless shelters that are moved daily to fresh grass and forage, alternating between Non-GMO and organic grains to offer customers options. All poultry is butchered and processed on the farm, sold fresh on processing day.
The Rest
The farm uses a local facility, Solar Meats, to process their beef. They offer various pricing options for their products, including whole broiler chickens and different cuts of beef. Customers can purchase directly from the farm and stay updated on sales and farm news through email subscriptions.
