About the Farm

Background

Established with a commitment to organic farming, the farm has grown a wide variety of vegetables, medicinal and culinary herbs, and cut flowers. Over the years, it has expanded its offerings to include herbal product and cut flower CSAs, alongside traditional vegetable CSA shares.

Practices

The farm employs organic practices across all its operations, ensuring that no synthetic chemicals are used in the cultivation of its crops. The mixed flock of Americauna and Crested Cream Legbar chickens, along with Welsh Harlequin ducks, are free-range, contributing to natural pest control and lawn aeration. This holistic approach integrates animal husbandry with crop production, fostering a balanced ecosystem.

The Rest

The farm welcomes WWOOFers throughout the season and has introduced its first ATTRA farm internship. Plans are underway to offer farm tours and weekend events, providing opportunities for visitors to engage with the farm's operations and philosophy.
