Lost Corner Farm

Situated along the Potomac River, the farm has been nurtured by Steven Cox for over 40 years. He discovered the potential of this land, enriched by alluvial deposits, and has dedicated himself to its care. His son Tyson, after gaining experience in South America and Australia, has joined him, bringing new ideas and expanding the farm's operations.

The farm emphasizes responsible stewardship, balancing organic methods with the need for sustainability. Farming practices are adapted to the sensitive riverside environment, requiring increased awareness and attention. The farm operates with a philosophy that prioritizes the thriving of produce, animals, and land, sometimes necessitating deviations from strict organic methods to ensure overall sustainability.

The farm offers a CSA program managed by Charlotte Cooper, who includes culinary and medicinal herbs in the boxes. The farm's produce is available at local markets and businesses, such as Mom's Apple Pie Bakery and Potomac Vegetable Farms' Vienna market. The farm also has an online store for purchasing products and joining the CSA.
