About the Farm

Background

Located on 26 acres seven miles southwest of Geneva, NY, the farm is run by Jarret and Jessica along with their six children. They aim to nourish the local economy, support ecological agriculture, and provide a healthy diet for families through their CSA program.

Practices

The farm cultivates its crops in mineral-rich glacial soil and raises pastured poultry and turkeys, along with cage-free brown eggs. Their farming methods emphasize ecological agriculture and aim to educate the community about sustainable growing practices.

The Rest

CSA members receive a share of the farm's produce every week during the 20-week growing season. The CSA share costs $550, with a half-share available for $225. Additional products such as poultry ($15/bird), turkeys ($3.99/lb), and eggs ($3.50/dozen) can be ordered separately. There is also a weekly pickup at Mayflowers Farm and Garden Center in Canandaigua on Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m.
