About the Farm
Background
For three generations, the family has farmed this land since 1928, becoming known for producing some of the best and most flavorful fruits and vegetables on the North Shore. Each year, the farm attracts an increasing number of visitors who enjoy its rich history and quality produce.
Practices
The farm employs various growing techniques such as raised plastic beds, drip irrigation, row covers, frost control, and biological controls to ensure the quality and freshness of their produce. Vegetables are picked daily in the early morning. The farm's commitment to these practices reflects a deep respect for the land and a dedication to providing the best possible produce.
The Rest
Spring begins with an acre of greenhouses filled with annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetable plants, and hanging baskets. The farm grows over 200 acres of mixed fruits and vegetables, with sweet corn being the most popular crop. Fall brings over 30 acres of pumpkins, gourds, and winter squash, along with a corn maze and various family-friendly activities. The farm stand offers a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, and specialty foods, transforming into a holiday destination in November.
