About the Farm
Background
Located in West Tisbury, the farm began as Martha's Vineyard Mushrooms, an artisanal mushroom farm cultivating shiitake, lion's mane, reishi, oyster mushrooms, and other varieties. Over time, the farm expanded its offerings to include fresh and dried mushrooms, mushroom grinders, mushroom tea, coffee, and cacao, and mushroom salt. They also produce value-added products such as mushroom candles, soap, skin care, lip balm, and cosmetics.
Practices
The farm adheres to all-natural, chemical-free, and pesticide-free farming methods. They raise heritage breed chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, guinea hens, and quail, all of which are free range and pasture-fed. Additionally, they raise English Angora rabbits for fiber and dairy goats, offering goat-scaping services as a natural way to manage landscapes.
The Rest
The farm provides farm-fresh eggs and Angora rabbit wool in various colors. They are currently seeking farm interns and encourage interested individuals to contact them for more information.
