About the Farm
Background
Miss Scarlett's Blue Ribbon Farm has established itself as Cape Cod's largest producer of poultry and pork. Known for its diverse array of animals, the farm offers a unique experience to visitors with its wide variety of livestock including ducks, geese, chickens, pheasants, peacocks, goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, and piglets. The farm operates year-round, providing fresh local poultry and pork to the community.
Practices
The farm employs natural raising methods, ensuring that all poultry and pork are chemical-free. Roaster chickens are available from May through December, sold dressed, cleaned, and fresh, never frozen. Heritage breed Thanksgiving turkeys are raised on a diet that includes pumpkins, allowing them to free frolic and exercise, resulting in healthier, fresh birds.
The Rest
The farm is open to visitors on weekends in November and December, and daily during the in-season period from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Fresh poultry and pork can be purchased directly from the farm, and customers can sign up for a newsletter to receive updates on product availability. Turkeys can be reserved online or in person during regular business hours.
