About the Farm
Background
The Stenberg Family has a rich history of raising sheep, dating back to the 1800s in America and countless generations before in the mountains of Norway. Known for producing the finest quality Hampshire meat sheep, the family has continued their tradition of excellence through the generations.
Practices
The farm prides itself on raising all-natural lamb without the use of hormones or feed-grade antibiotics. Their approach ensures that the lambs are healthy and the meat is succulent. The farm also emphasizes customer involvement, allowing buyers to have total control over the type and size of cuts, as well as any procedures, by delivering the live animal to an area locker in the customer's name.
The Rest
In addition to their renowned sheep, the farm also raises Great Pyrenees dogs, each with unique traits and personalities. Odin, Thor, Freya, and Tuva are the farm's Great Pyrenees, each known for their protective instincts and friendly demeanor. The dogs play a crucial role in safeguarding the farm and its inhabitants, making them an integral part of the farm's operations. The farm is located in the heart of Montana on the Judith River, also raising cattle and horses.
