About the Farm
Background
Located in the open mountains and gentle banks of the Verde River Valley, this farm has chosen to embrace the natural and holistic techniques developed by their forefathers, diverging from the industrialized meat production that dominates much of the cattle industry today.
Practices
The farm integrates sustainable practices that mimic the grazing patterns of bison and other large herd animals, allowing cattle to graze in a healthier, safer, and more environmentally conscious manner. Each season, the best heifers and steers are selected for feeding in the exclusive moon river pasture on the Verde River. This private river access provides the cattle with free-flowing water and a diverse ecosystem of plant life, offering an essential mix of minerals and nutrients that contribute to the quality of the beef.
The Rest
The farm offers three Angus Beef packages, including specialty packages, with deposits of $150.00. The first delivery of the year is ready in February, followed by a second in March. Packages include Black Angus and Golden Angus options, as well as ground beef and eggs.
