For over fifty years, a family has raised fruit on a 50-acre farm in Parkdale, Oregon, establishing it as an important fruit grower in the Hood River Valley and Columbia Gorge region. Three generations strong, the farm is known for its fresh fruit and community focus.

Practices

The farm employs environmentally sustainable methods to grow its apples and pears, ensuring that the land is cared for while producing top-grade fruit.

The Rest

The farm is family-friendly and welcomes leashed dogs. It offers U-pick cherries in mid-July, cider donuts on weekends in September and October, and has been voted one of the Top 10 Apple Orchards for U-pick in the USA. The Grateful Vineyard Tasting Room is open daily, and the farm also hosts weddings with panoramic views of Mt. Hood and farm-to-table offerings. Private tours and photography sessions are available by appointment.
