Noni's Farm

Located in Southern Ohio, this small, family-run farm is known for its high-quality pastured chicken and eggs. The farm is Homegrown By Heroes certified. Their products are available both directly from the farm and at Earth Candy Farmacy in Portsmouth.

Chickens are raised on fresh pasture, moved daily, and supplemented to ensure a healthy diet. Meat chickens are processed at a USDA-inspected facility and sold frozen. The egg-laying hens roam freely during the day and return to their coop at night, enjoying feed from a local mill, fresh water, grasses, and insects. Lambs are raised alongside the flock, protected by a donkey, and have access to nutritious feed, hay, and fresh water. The farm emphasizes minimal interference, allowing animals to live as naturally as possible.

Egg production slows significantly from December to March. The farm's products are available throughout the year, though availability may vary for lamb.
