About the Farm

Background

The Organic Breezy Hill Orchards are the result of years of dedication to the craft of organic fruit production by Patrick Lynch, who has owned and operated the orchards and gardens since 2000. In 2002, Patrick certified the 60-acre farm with the Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA). The farm has expanded from two to four orchards, with about 15 acres dedicated to apples and pears.

Practices

Patrick Lynch continues the organic growing practices started by his parents. The farm is certified organic by the Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA), ensuring that all produce is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. The farm's practices emphasize soil health, biodiversity, and ecological balance.

The Rest

The farm offers pick-your-own apples from mid-September to mid-October, along with pre-picked apples available in 3 lb bags or bulk cases. Special events such as weddings, family reunions, and live entertainment are also hosted on the farm. The farm accepts cash and local checks only.
