About the Farm

Background

Ten years ago, the Laws Family—Chuck, Lucille, and Cassie—purchased the farm with the mission to provide healthy, nourishing food. Over the years, they have expanded their offerings and now partner with fourteen other farmers and artisans to supply a variety of products through their farm co-op store. Their farm and food have been featured in Lancaster Farming Magazine, Lakeshore News, and CNY 55+, and their products are used in local establishments like the Sheraton Hotel in Syracuse and The Chef4Rent food cart.

Practices

The farm raises 100% grass-fed Angus Cross beef without the use of hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. The cattle graze freely in rotated pastures and are fed high-quality hay during the winter months. The farm emphasizes a loving and stress-free environment for the animals and employs sustainable farming practices to maintain the health of the land.

The Rest

The farm offers beef in various package sizes, from 10 pounds to a whole steer, processed at a USDA-inspected facility and aged for 14 days before being vacuum-sealed. Orders can be picked up at the farm or shipped to several states via UPS ground next-day delivery. The farm also operates a co-op store featuring local farmers' and artisans' products, and participates in regional and seasonal markets.
